The homeowners of this 1905 classic Denver Square home had one goal in mind: to transform a small, closed-in, turn-of-the-century kitchen into a fresh and inviting open-concept space.

In this kitchen remodel, our primary focus was to break down barriers and create a more seamless flow between the kitchen and other spaces in the home. This involved removing walls and completely re-designing the layout for new cabinets, appliances, and flooring. By unifying the layout, we integrated the kitchen, dining, and living areas together. The cook can now engage with guests while preparing meals, which makes entertaining more enjoyable.

To help keep the new space clutter-free, we incorporated ample storage solutions. Additionally, we brought technology into the design with integrated lighting, both in-cabinet and under-cabinet. The homeowners took it one step further and added wireless technology, which gives them the ability to control their lighting products from an app on their smartphone.

We made use of every inch of wall space to maximize storage and functionality. This allowed us to create a 165″ long by 60″ deep island with a 6CM countertop and 6CM dual waterfall edges, which helped to alleviate the concern of minimal counter space on the back wall.
