N. Pearl Street Kitchen Remodel

The homeowners of this 1905 classic Denver Square home had one goal in mind: transform a small, closed-in kitchen into an inviting concept space.

In this kitchen remodel, our primary focus was to break down barriers and create a more seamless flow between the kitchen and other spaces in the home. By embracing an open concept design, we aimed to enhance both practicality and aesthetics. 

One of the key changes in the overall design was to remove walls that previously separated the kitchen from adjacent rooms, which allows for natural light to flood the entire space. By unifying the layout, we integrated the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The cook can now engage with guests while preparing meals, which makes entertaining more enjoyable. 

To help keep the new space clutter-free, we incorporated ample storage solutions. Additionally, we brought technology into the design with Crystal’s Integrated Lighting, both in-cabinet and under-cabinet. The homeowners took it one step further and added Hafele wireless technology, which gives them the ability to control their lighting products from an app on their smartphone.

The result is a versatile, family-friendly kitchen that encourages interaction, multitasking, and shared moments. Whether a casual family dinner or a lively gathering with friends, this open concept kitchen now serves as the heart of the home.
