The original kitchen in this 6,000-square-foot home was tucked away in a corner like an after-thought. Our objective was to create an open-concept area that harmonized with the whole house and met the client’s desire for a functional and inviting space suitable for working and hosting.
To achieve this, we removed an unnecessary wall and integrated an expansive workspace. We also blended three distinct colors – shades of white, warm wood tones, and tasteful greys – to infuse the space with character and coziness while maintaining its brightness.
The result was a resounding success – a stark departure from the outdated, cramped kitchen that it once was. The rich wood tones bring a sense of natural beauty to the space, while the seamless integration of panel-ready appliances adds a final touch of sleek sophistication.
